Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the articles, are you able to:

1. Identify and describe 2 or more examples of unethical conduct by supervisors or educators which involve violations of boundaries involving supervisees or students.
2. Identify and describe 2 or more ethical requirements that a therapist must be aware of when conducting telehealth with a client/patient.
3. Identify and describe 2 or more ethical duties that a therapist must be aware of when providing supervision.
4. Identify the steps a therapist should take prior to and when recommending walk and talk therapy for a patient.
5. Identify areas in which a therapist may cross ethical boundaries while conducting walk and talk therapy.
6. Understand the obligations a therapist has when dealing with minor sexting.
7. Define key terms such as sexting and sexual exploitation.
8. Identify scenarios in which a therapist should report to law enforcement or child welfare agencies.

This test is valid for obtaining continuing education hours until October 31, 2021. CAMFT is recognized as a CE Provider by the Board of Behavioral Sciences for LMFTs, LEPs, LPCCs, and LCSWs (16 C.C.R. §1887.4.3(3)(D)).
