Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the articles, are you able to:
1. Identify key FEHA compliance principles and apply those principles to common employment scenarios.
2. Understand which employers are subject to the FEHA’s regulations and which workers are subject to the protections of the FEHA.
3. Become more familiar with FEHA-compliant procedures for reviewing accommodation requests and implementing accommodations that have been approved.
4. Identify the procedures a therapist should take before appearing for a deposition.
5. Name seven (7) ground rules that apply to deposition testimony. Understand the need for a business license in starting and running a business.
6. Define what a business license is and why they are a requirement.
7. Identify ways for business owners to obtain the required licenses needed for their business.
