MFTs and MHCs may now enroll as Medicare providers. Join Ms. Jasper for a 1-hour law and ethics presentation to go over details about the Medicare Advantage (MA) system and how to enroll with MA plans. Whether choosing to opt-in or opt-out of Medicare, Ms. Jasper will also offer ideas for how to address the topic of Medicare with patients. As the January 1, 2024 Medicare provider eligibility dates approaches, MFTs, LPCCs and their patients will need to have an understanding of each other’s relationship with Medicare.
