Course Description:
An informative power point presentation about the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC), a consumer protection agency, which protects the health care rights of more than 25 Million Californian’s by ensuring quality and timely access to health care. In the presentation you will learn about the DMHC’s key functions, which include ensuring that plans comply with State law; the Consumer Help Center which assists consumers through the health plan grievance process; and, the Provider Complaint Unit which helps providers resolve claim payment issues.
