Thank you

Description

Telehealth use to provide mental health services soared to over 500% between March 11 and April 22, 2020. As providers became more adept with HIPAA-secure platforms and other telehealth means, they expanded services to a variety of modalities and populations, including group and family therapy for children and teens.

This webinar will discuss the practical application and key takeaways from telehealth with youth during the pandemic. Additionally, we will discuss and propose creative models to work using in-person, virtual, and/or hybrid services going forth and the many logistical and therapeutic aspects to consider.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1) List three ethical considerations when using telehealth with children and teens.
2) Prepare three critical elements to discuss as part of informed consent for ethical telehealth practice.
3) Plan two strategies for therapy implementation considering in-person, virtual, and hybrid models.
4) Analyze the risk and benefits of how to move forward as the state lifts COVID restrictions.
